About Normand

Built by someone who already made the app.

Normand exists because its founder was an indie app builder who couldn't find app marketing that was affordable, professional, or based on the real product.

London / Working globally

01

I made the app first.

Before Normand there was just an app and a builder. Shipping was the straightforward part. Getting anyone to notice it meant marketing I had no training in and no budget for — the kind of work that quietly assumes you have already raised money.

02

Then I went looking for help.

The agencies I found fell into two camps. One quoted prices built for a funded company with a marketing department. The other delivered a stock photo of a phone showing a screen that wasn't the product, wrapped in a template. Neither made the thing I'd actually built look the way it did to me.

03

The gap was obvious.

Real apps already have the material: screens people use, features that genuinely work, moments worth filming. Marketing for apps should start from that, not from a generic stand-in. And it shouldn't cost a funding round to get it done properly.

04

So I built the studio I was looking for.

Normand is that studio. Campaign posters and marketing films made from your real app, at prices solo and small app builders can actually pay — from £350 a month, and a free sample poster made from your app first, so nothing is taken on trust.

What I kept promising myself

“If the campaign doesn't show the real product, it isn't my app's campaign.”

That rule became the studio's whole method: start from the interface people actually use, keep every claim traceable to a real feature, and hold the finished piece to a standard you'd be glad to put your app's name against.

What that changed

Three things we won't trade away.

01

Real captures, not stock

Every poster and film is built from your live interface — the actual screens, not a stand-in that looks like everyone else's.

02

Claims we can trace

If we promote a feature, the app really does it. Messages are traced back to what the product can genuinely do before anything is designed.

03

Studio standards, indie prices

Campaign-grade creative on monthly plans from £350, because the people building the best small apps are rarely the ones with the biggest budgets.

The proof so far

CityNav, told from the real product.

The campaign we'd have wanted as builders: posters and films built from CityNav's live interface, covering 28 cities, offline navigation, Airport Mode, CityNav AI, live transit, AR walking and safety tools.

What you get each month

  • One new campaign concept a month, drawn from your live app
  • Posters in social, paid and app-store formats
  • Marketing films up to 30 seconds, cut from real product moments
  • A free sample poster before you commit to anything
